After six years experience working in the wine trade, begun overseas and consolidated in France, Sophia Zaïme decided to launch Madame Wine in 2014.
Her time spent working at Caves Legrand Filles & Fils proved particularly informative for her career: having joined the company as a trainee, she was put in charge of Bordeaux En Primeurs, before being promoted to Ambassador and Business Development Manager responsible for the Private Accounts. In conjunction, she completed a course in business management and human resources in Paris and vocational training with the prestigious Wine & Spirit Education Trust in London.
Her extensive network of contacts established through collaborations both in France and internationally, combined with her innovative approach when providing guidance for collectors and restaurant and wine professionals, are key to the services she offers – developing the company with abundant enthusiasm and a smiley disposition.
